Hello!
We are so thrilled you have decided to send your kids to Eagle Adventure Camp. We are so excited for your kids to come!
We wanted to pass on some additional information so your camper is ready to have an amazing week.
Camp Waivers
Attached are waivers to fill out. Please print, fill out, and bring these forms with you on the first morning of camp. While you may notice some of the information is asked for multiple times, please fill out all of the forms. One form is our camp waiver, and the others are required for two of our field trips. This will help ensure a smooth check in process on the first day. We will have additional copies available, but it may delay your drop-off time. **If you already filled out the waivers for a previous week this summer, you do NOT have to fill them out again
Drop Off
Drop off will happen at the shelter house behind General Rosecrans Elementary. Drop off will start at 8:45 AM daily.
On the first day of camp, we ask that you please come with your camper(s) to the shelter house to check them in. The rest of the week you can simply allow your camper(s) to walk up to the shelter house themselves, and we will check them in. Upon checking your camper(s) in on the first day, you will receive a number. Please remember/write down this number, as it will be needed at pickup. Please only share this number with anyone that has your permission to pick your camper(s) up.
Early Drop
If you signed up for early-drop, you are able to drop your camper(s) off between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM. On the Sunday before camp, you will receive a text message with further details.
If something has changed and you need the early drop option added for your camper(s), please feel free to reach out via email and we can get you enrolled. As a reminder, this is an additional cost of $30 per week and selecting this option allows you to drop your camper(s) off any time between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM.
Pick-up
Pickup is by 4:00 PM. We will start the process around 3:40 PM just in case anyone wants to come early to beat the traffic.
At pickup, please come up to the shelter house to sign your camper(s) out. To sign out, simply tell you camper’s counselor their assigned number and then sign them out on the clipboard next to their name.
What to bring?
Please have your camper bring:
A large water bottle
Spray Sunscreen
A packed lunch
A snack
Please place your camper’s name on all of these items.
Pool Day
Campers have the option to wear their swimsuit under their regular clothes in the morning, or they can bring their swim gear with them and we will give them time to change prior to loading the bus to the pool
Additional Items to Bring:
Towel
Sunscreen
Change of clothes (Optional)
What to leave at home?
Please leave all phones, electronics, pokemon cards, fidgets, etc at home. If you need to get a hold of your camper(s) while at camp, please call/text Brady (740-816-7936) or Jody (614) 560-9070 and we will allow you to speak to your camper(s) or we can relay any messages to them.
Your camper(s) will NOT need any extra money during camp. Everything the campers will be doing is included in the camp registration price.
Facebook page
If you have not already done so, please follow us on Facebook. We will post pictures, as well as any important updates during the week.
Camp Groups
On Monday morning after drop-off, campers will be divided into four groups. These four groups are divided by age. However, if a younger sibling/friend wants to join the older group to be with their sibling/friend, then we absolutely will allow that. We will ask when getting the campers into groups whether any of the younger campers would like to join their sibling/friend. Each group is divided up by colors for the sole purpose of our campers being able to remember their group (yellow, red, blue or green). Please note, there is NO requirement to wear the group’s colors.
Each group will be led by one of our fabulous camp counselors.
